Marcela Santos

I am a computer science professional with a strong foundation in artificial intelligence and machine learning, currently pursuing an M.S. in Computer Science at Binghamton University. I combine hands-on project experience in predictive modeling, data pipelines, and database design with practical QA experience working cross-functionally to ensure product quality.

My projects include building predictive models with Python and Scikit-learn (achieving a 0.91 ROC), designing data consolidation tools, and architecting centralized MySQL databases. I have delivered dashboards and prototypes that improved stakeholder decision-making and operational visibility.

As a former QA intern and teaching assistant, I excel at translating requirements into test scenarios, managing defect lifecycles in Jira, mentoring students, and facilitating Agile workflows. I am results-driven, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute to teams building data-driven or AI-enabled products.
