I’m a Data QA Engineer who tests data from the source system all the way to the final report. I’m good at finding data issues early, so teams can trust the numbers they use.
On my most recent project, I worked in Microsoft Fabric using medallion architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold). I tested lakehouse tables, warehouse tables, and BI reports. My main work was:
Checking data between layers for accuracy, completeness, duplicates, and nulls
Validating transformation rules and business logic
Comparing report numbers against the underlying tables
Writing test cases and tracking defects until they were fixed
I also use agentic AI tools to create and run test cases. This helps me cover more scenarios in less time.
I’m interested in roles in data quality, data platform testing, and test automation. I’m based in the Philippines and looking for remote work with international teams.
