At Lago Vista Police Department, I served as Police Patrol Sergeant until my honorable retirement in November 2024. I worked to maintain high law enforcement service levels and reduce crime through proactive tactics and planning.
As a Ranger at Lower Colorado River Authority, I patrolled Lake Travis, parks, lands, and critical infrastructure. I enforced water safety rules, investigated environmental concerns, and conducted investigations of serious and fatal boating accidents.
At PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY POLICE DEPARTMENT, I commanded patrol operations, including a midnight shift, and supervised patrol officers and detectives. I developed standard operating procedures, conducted crime analysis, and worked with communities on concerns and complaints.
I also served as a Survival Specialist in the UNITED STATES AIR FORCE, training flight crew members to use onboard survival gear and inspecting equipment. Across my law enforcement work, I mentored future leaders and worked within assigned budgets.
