Experienced nonprofit executive with a passion for strategic leadership.
What I'm looking for
I am a pragmatic and results-driven nonprofit executive with over 20 years of leadership experience. My career has been dedicated to implementing strategic initiatives that drive organizational growth and foster operational sustainability. I have a proven track record in fundraising, financial management, team development, and coalition building, all while promoting innovation and equity through strategic partnerships and data-informed practices.
As the Executive Director of the Self Help Center, I direct day-to-day operations and organizational strategy for a $1M nonprofit agency. I lead the recruitment, development, and supervision of high-performing teams, oversee budgeting and resource allocation, and have successfully secured over $1.2M for capital construction through comprehensive fundraising strategies. My role also involves serving as a public spokesperson and building partnerships to influence policy and reduce community violence.
In addition to my executive role, I have experience as an Adjunct Instructor, where I developed curriculum and facilitated grant writing workshops, and as Co-Interim Executive Director at the Nicolaysen Art Museum, where I managed a $1.3M budget and led significant fundraising initiatives. My commitment to community service is reflected in my various board memberships and leadership roles in local organizations.
