What I'm looking for

I’m looking for challenging software engineering roles where I can apply my skills to solve non-trivial problems—building reliable systems, improving performance, and delivering measurable outcomes with teams that value clear communication and technical excellence.

I’m a seasoned software engineer with 18+ years of experience designing, deploying, and maintaining large-scale production systems. I’m known for clear communication, technical excellence, and driving successful outcomes quickly and efficiently.

Most recently, I developed a full-stack application that consolidated Department of State user data across multiple legacy systems—automating de-conflicting and de-duplication of records. I integrated four ATLAS and State Department systems for real-time broadcast/receive of updates, built an Elixir based companion app using OTP supervision trees and GenServer-based concurrency, and created advanced search filters and UI for user record merging.

As a Senior Cloud Architect, I led teams on Generative-AI Proof-of-Concept applications, data-center migrations, and an automated ETL quality-control pipeline. I designed and delivered cloud solutions across multiple client engagements (including RAG chatbot and credit-analysis bot), migrated eight services and 2 TB of databases to AWS with zero downtime, and mentored three new engineers on best-practice development.

Earlier, I worked on systems for geo-spatial analysis, signal processing, and enterprise planning. On NASA’s Common Metadata Repository, I helped achieve 95th percentile sub-second search performance using ElasticSearch, deployed STAC APIs, and built test tooling to simulate document streams for intelligence software. I bring a practical, outcome-driven engineering ethos—focused on reliable systems, measurable performance, and maintainable delivery.
