Javier Alberto Ortiz de los Corella
@javz_core
Mechatronics engineer specializing in automotive product design, R&D, and validation from concept to production.
What I'm looking for
I’m a mechatronics engineer with 6+ years of experience spanning mechanical design, product development, and R&D—most recently focused on automotive suspension components. I enjoy taking products from concept to production, iterating quickly, and learning from every test result.
At ZF Group, I design and develop complete shock absorbers from concept to prototype, covering mechanical and valving aspects to meet customer load specifications. I request and analyze lab testing data, manage CAD drawings and technical documentation in PTC Creo Parametric and Windchill, keep BOMs clean in SAP, and support the full prototype cycle through Debug, Pre-PPAP, and PPAP while aligning with international customers.
Previously, at Big Dutchman Mexico, I led technical spec review and served as the go-to reference for installers across Latin America, including engineering a custom silo installation solution for challenging terrain. Before that, as a Project Engineer at KD Soluciones, I led client kick-offs, designed electronic security systems, and delivered cost-optimized CCTV architecture changes—while continuously improving documentation, procedures, and after-sales support.
