Javier Molina

I am a computer science student at The University of Texas at El Paso concentrating in software engineering, with a minor in finance and an Associates of Arts from El Paso Community College. I maintain strong academic performance (GPA 3.69 at UTEP, 3.95 at EPCC) while actively building practical software and robotics experience.

I have designed and implemented Java projects including a text-based RPG inventory management system that parses CSV data, uses linked-list inventory structures, and provides a menu-driven purchase/sell/inspect workflow, as well as a command-driven audio player handling .wav files with robust input validation. I emphasize modular programming, file I/O handling, and user-focused error handling.

Beyond coursework I serve as Vice President of the Robotics Automation Society, organized a city-wide robotics competition, taught students robot design and coding, and gained customer-service and hardware-repair experience working in a game room environment. I bring collaborative teamwork, hands-on troubleshooting, and an eagerness to grow in software development roles.
