My journey into front-end engineering began during my university days, where my focus was primarily on backend technologies. However, my curiosity and passion for creating user-friendly interfaces soon led me to specialize in front-end development. The front-end, to me, is the bridge between applications and users, and finding joy in enhancing user experiences has become a driving force in my career.
Throughout my 6+ years in the field, one project that stands out is the development of a library used internally for creating search applications. It was a massive learning experience, reaching thousands of users. Additionally, I played a key role in introducing testing and steering a project towards TypeScript and Vue 3.
When it comes to problem-solving, I start by exploring existing market solutions, weighing their pros and cons. For unresolved issues, I prioritize quick solutions, followed by careful testing and a gradual simplification of the process.
My work philosophy revolves around communicating early, keeping things simple and delivering quality applications. I aim to find a balance between managing technical debt and providing value to users. Testing is not just a process but a commitment to ensuring stable behaviors and preventing regressions. I value honest feedback, readily acknowledging mistakes as opportunities for growth and learning.
