What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a senior network security role where I can design Zero Trust architectures, automate defensive controls, and improve uptime and detection speed in mission-critical enterprise and cloud/hybrid environments.

I’m a Senior Network Security Engineer and Architect with 20+ years of experience designing, securing, and operating mission-critical enterprise, DoD, federal, and data center networks. My focus spans routing and switching, firewall architecture, network segmentation, and Zero Trust-aligned designs across Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, F5, Azure, AWS, Linux, and Windows Server environments.

I’m known for building practical security controls that improve network availability to 99.99%, reducing security incidents by 30%, and turning complex network risk into clear action plans for engineering, infrastructure, security, and leadership teams. In recent roles, I improved automation efficiency by 40%, and I developed Splunk-based monitoring queries that reduced detection time from hours to minutes while strengthening incident-driven response.

Across corporate, production-style cloud, and lab environments, I implement defensive controls like NGFW policy, IDS/IPS, web/DNS filtering, MFA VPN, logging, and monitoring—then validate secure-by-design patterns through disciplined change and evidence workflows. I also bring automation and visibility using Python/PowerShell/Bash, Ansible/Terraform concepts, and tooling such as Wazuh, Zabbix, FortiAnalyzer, and OpenVAS/Greenbone.
