Jamaica Vera

I am a Computer Engineering graduate with hands-on experience across software development, machine learning, web technologies, and embedded systems. I build practical applications that combine ML/DSP solutions with usable web interfaces.

During a Software Development internship I contributed to web development, UI/UX design, testing, and debugging, strengthening my teamwork and problem-solving abilities. My thesis delivered a web-based ML+DSP solution for venue-specific audio optimization.

I have also developed embedded automation systems—automatic window and garage door projects integrating sensors and actuators using Arduino—and performed CNN-based image classification experiments. My background includes computer hardware assembly, troubleshooting, and basic networking from technical-vocational training.

I work well both independently and in teams, adapt quickly to new tools, and prioritize clear communication and reliable, maintainable solutions.
