What I'm looking for

I’m seeking remote contract work where I can tutor and support learners with personalized instruction, detailed feedback on writing and reading, and data-informed progress tracking—using my teaching and writing strengths to help students improve.

I’m a writer and educator with a Master of Arts in English and Creative Writing (in progress) and years of experience helping learners strengthen language arts and core academic skills. I’m self-motivated, detail-oriented, and effective at planning, evaluating written work, and meeting deadlines.

In my freelance role as an Online English Tutor (VIPKid, 2025–Present), I evaluate pronunciation, sentence structure, reading comprehension, and writing abilities, then provide detailed feedback to improve grammar, clarity, and coherence. I deliver tailored 1-on-1 instruction and manage my own asynchronous schedule to keep learning progress steady.

Previously, I taught K-5 in the Clark County School District from 2012–2024, working with diverse learners across language arts, mathematics, science, and social studies. I tracked and analyzed learner performance data, adapted to remote delivery, and used tools like Zoom, Google Meet, Google Workspace, and learning management systems (Canvas, Infinite Campus) to support clear, organized instruction.
