What I'm looking for

I’m looking for roles where I can blend research-backed writing with precise English↔French translation and editing, strengthen brand-building through strategic content, and collaborate with teams that welcome constructive feedback.

I’m a bilingual communications specialist working as a freelance writer and editor, combining academic research with creativity to produce historical fiction and non-fiction. I hone my craft through strict writing exercises focused on mastering new stylistic devices and exploring varied topics. I also proofread and edit others’ work, helping strengthen clarity, voice, and impact.

I translate English and French texts, dialogues, and in-game assets for French adaptations, with a strong focus on tone, comprehension, and accuracy. I review, proofread, and critique translations, and I provide constructive feedback to development teams on translation barriers to keep language and intent aligned. I bring an analytical approach that still respects creative constraints and deadlines.

Alongside my freelance writing and translation work, I support learners as a tutor in French to English and English to French, as well as ESL and academic writing. I design personalized worksheets and assignments for absolute beginners and advanced goals, and I build lessons that target key concepts through multiple teaching methods. I’m detail-oriented, adaptable, and eager for criticism—using it to continuously improve my work across writing, editing, and communication.
