I’m looking for a credit risk role where I can build and improve underwriting policies, risk grading models, and automated decisioning platforms—while owning portfolio monitoring and leading teams to strengthen decision quality and manage risk proactively.

I’m a senior credit risk professional with 9 years of experience in corporate credit underwriting, delegated credit decision-making, due diligence, and portfolio monitoring across alternative asset management and corporate banking. I’ve built credit risk infrastructure including underwriting policies, risk grading models, and credit decisioning frameworks and I directly contributed to proprietary loan origination and credit decisioning platform development through feature design, UAT, and process automation requirements. I also led a 5-person credit team as Squad Lead with full appraisal authority.

At AFEX Investment Limited, I owned end-to-end credit underwriting for B2B working capital facilities, averaging three full credit assessments per week, and made independent credit decisions within delegated approval authority. I integrated credit bureau data into due diligence workflows, monitored 15–20 active exposures for early warning signals, and led restructuring of non-performing assets. Previously at Guaranty Trust Bank, I managed corporate credit relationships across the lifecycle, presented credits to the Management Credit Committee, and supported NPL management and remediation while mentoring entry-level analysts.
