Jack Ward

I’m a passionate and adaptable Digital Media Designer whose current role has helped me grow my skills in 3D, Graphic, Motion Design, and video editing. I’m now looking for a position that lets me flex my creativity every day and continue building on the versatile design toolkit I’ve been developing. I’m currently furthering my knowledge of sculpting in Zbrush.

At Acume Forensic (2020), I approached challenges with 3D and Motion creative solutions while staying calm under pressure and adhering to deadlines. I was involved in the creation of immersive 3D reconstructions of crime scenes and graphics using Blender, using Unreal Engine to experiment with turning these 3D scenes into interactive experiences. I also used 3D scanning techniques to elevate the 3D scenes, including scanning key pieces of evidence, with fantastic attention to detail.

From the onset of 2023, I’ve been actively engaged in freelance design work, collaborating with a company based in Leeds to create logos, website designs, and a redesign of their current prospectus. Alongside that, I crafted bespoke video edits tailored to the unique needs and requirements of various police forces, and used Adobe Illustrator and After Effects to design maps and graphics that enhanced law enforcement presentations. I also taught film and video fundamentals, managed the video department during a demanding summer production, and worked across editing software including Premiere Pro, Avid, and DaVinci Resolve.
