What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a Senior QA or QA Lead role where I can drive quality strategy, scale test automation, and modernize QA using AI tools like Cursor and Copilot. I thrive in Agile teams that value early quality ownership, zero-critical-bug releases, and cross-functional collaboration. I aim to lead release readiness, build robust web/mobile frameworks, and mentor junior engineers.

I am a results-driven Senior Quality Assurance Engineer with over 5 years of experience in manual and automated testing across web, mobile (Android & iOS), and backend API ecosystems. Holding a BSc (Hons) in IT & Management from the University of Colombo and ISTQB (CTFL) certification, my career spans impactful roles at IFS R&D International, Pearson Lanka, and Etcetera Solutions. I specialize in establishing end-to-end quality strategies, executing risk-based test coverage, and championing release management to ensure high-confidence deployments with zero critical production bugs.

A core focus of my work is modernizing QA workflows by integrating cutting-edge AI-assisted tools like Cursor AI, Microsoft Copilot, and Jira Rovo to accelerate test case generation, script development, and failure triage. My technical toolkit includes Java, Appium, Selenium, TestNG, Postman, and MS SQL, alongside version control tools like Git, BitBucket, and GitLab.
