What I'm looking for

I’m looking for an entry-level lab and research role where I can apply GLP/SOP discipline, run analytical experiments, and use Excel/Power BI/SQL to turn results into clear, decision-ready reports.

I’m a Biochemistry-specialized Science Laboratory Technology graduate with hands-on internship experience across analytical, research, and academic laboratories. I bring GLP-compliant documentation and strong sample integrity management to every experiment I run.

In my Laboratory Research Intern role at Peebee Consult, I extracted and analysed phytochemicals from Bryophyllum pinnatum and orange leaves using established protocols. I also supported antimicrobial testing against E. coli, preparing reagents at specified concentrations and maintaining traceability through accurate sample labelling and organisation.

Across my University of Benin biochemistry and chemistry internships, I quantified phytopigments via column extraction and UV/Vis spectrophotometry, and I measured ascorbic acid content in fruit samples using titrimetric/analytical methods. I consistently pre-tested procedures and reagents, documented results, and followed SOPs and laboratory safety protocols.

For my final year research project, I investigated comparative plant-derived heparin-like substances versus standard heparin and fluoride oxalate, analysing multi-parameter datasets and presenting findings in clear written reports and formal presentations. Alongside lab work, I use Excel, Power BI, and SQL to interpret results and communicate evidence-based conclusions.

Conducted a faculty-designed experimental investigation to evaluate the effective concentration of a plant-derived heparin-like compound as a potential natural anticoagulant alternative.
