What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a role where I can grow into a Data Protection Officer—driving GDPR/NDPA compliance, DPIAs, and breach notification, while strengthening AI governance and regulatory monitoring in real, risk-aware systems.

I’m a third-year LLB candidate at Obafemi Awolowo University specializing in data protection and privacy law, with hands-on experience advising on GDPR compliance and cyber breach response through internships at Clifford Chance and Mastercard.

I’m actively building toward a career as a Data Protection Officer—studying NDPA 2023 and GDPR in depth, reviewing real enforcement decisions weekly, and documenting my learning journey publicly at abdullahishaq.me.

I also develop secondary expertise in AI governance, risk analysis, blockchain regulation, and regulatory compliance, pairing legal research with practical workflow automation through my AI platform.

My goal is to help organisations meet regulatory expectations with clear privacy-by-design thinking, robust breach response, and continuous compliance monitoring—while applying technology responsibly and reducing risk in real deployments.
