Isaac Ballesteros

I’m a Machine Learning Data Associate who’s built my career around delivering high-quality labeled data, improving AI outputs, and protecting customer experience. I thrive in teams with a “High standard culture,” strong “Good communication skills,” and people who are “Customer obsessed.”

Since Nov 2019, I’ve supported ML workflows by matching, transcribing, changing, and remodeling recorded and prerecorded data recognized by Artificial Intelligence (AI). I also mark and correct mistakes made by AI to improve its speech recognition and language understanding capabilities, staying focused on accuracy, consistency, and measurable quality.

From Apr 2024 to present, I work on ML Customer Service Technologies at Amazon, qualifying real customer interactions to target UX with AI using SOPs provided by stakeholders. I identify key aspects of customer interactions to evaluate defects flagged by AI models and escalate accordingly, while serving as a QA reviewer for team annotations to ensure adherence to project standards.

I bring an “Always willing to learn more,” “quick learner” mindset, with adaptability to constant background change. I’ve also acted as a Subject Matter Expert and POC for several workflows—aligning teams on guidelines, refreshing proper guideline follow-ups, and driving process improvement and calibrations to different data transformations.
