What I'm looking for

I’m looking to own backend and distributed systems end-to-end—building resilient ingestion, search, and rate-limiting services—then leading technical migrations with zero downtime. I want teams where AI helps, but judgment stays central.

I’m a senior backend & distributed systems engineer with 8 years building, owning, and scaling high-traffic e-commerce services across six product domains. At Tokopedia (ByteDance), I’ve owned end-to-end services from monolith-to-bounded-service read paths at tens of millions of requests/day to write/ingestion paths at hundreds of millions of events/day.

My core strength is resilience under burst load: I led work on distributed leaky-bucket rate limiting, multi-channel message routing, and consumer overload protection, including IP-backed architecture and reusable libraries adopted by other teams. I also spearheaded migration and performance efforts—search-domain cloud-platform migration with zero-downtime cutover, Elasticsearch cost and capacity optimization (including ~2.7 TB disk footprint reduction), and ingestion throughput improvements—while staying AI-augmented but judgment-led.
