I am a structural biologist with a PhD who applies cryo-electron microscopy and X-ray crystallography to solve mechanisms of enzymes and membrane protein complexes.

As a Research Associate, I used cryo-EM to study KatG protein variants incorporating non-canonical amino acids to elucidate Met-Tyr-Trp cofactor biogenesis. My postdoctoral work focused on membrane proteins using single-particle cryo-EM and crystallography.

My doctoral research involved biochemical characterization of sugar-metabolizing enzymes from hyperthermophilic archaea and I have co-authored multiple peer-reviewed articles, including a recent structural paper in PNAS.

I bring hands-on expertise in protein expression and purification, membrane protein handling, mutagenesis, enzyme kinetics and structural data processing (CryoSPARC, RELION, Coot), and I am motivated to join collaborative labs with advanced instrumentation and clear translational or fundamental goals.
