I've led infectious disease research and molecular diagnostic work at Pakistan's National Institute of Health, developing and validating assays for SARS-CoV-2 and Influenza using PCR, qPCR, and Oxford Nanopore sequencing.
My work has supported national COVID-19 surveillance and a Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation-funded project, where I conducted molecular analysis, sequencing, data reporting, and technical support for surveillance panels. I've also delivered hands-on Influenza diagnostics training to sentinel laboratory participants and interns across Pakistan.
At NILOP Nanomedicine Research Labs, I contributed to ultrasound-mediated targeted drug delivery research, cancer cell culture assays, fluorescence microscopy, flow cytometry, and quantitative analysis using GraphPad Prism, Origin, and ImageJ.
Alongside research, I coordinate patient care at American Fertility Center and maintain accurate clinical records, consultations, referrals, and follow-ups through EMR systems. I hold a PhD in Biological Sciences and have authored peer-reviewed research on nanomedicine, molecular diagnostics, Influenza, and infectious disease surveillance.
