Arun Kumar Mahto

I am an MCA graduate and Java Backend Developer with hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, Spring Security, JPA/Hibernate, SQL, and MySQL.

I built EasyJobSpot, a job portal backend with REST APIs for user profiles, job listings, and applications, using a layered Controller–Service–Repository architecture. I implemented JWT authentication, role-based access control, ownership validation, and admin-controlled approval workflows. I also enforced profile-completion and duplicate-application rules and tested the APIs using Postman.

I also developed a console-based Online Banking System supporting Admin and User roles, with authentication, transactions, account management, and database operations using Java, JDBC, and SQL.

As a Data Science Intern at UGCPL, I cleaned and analyzed datasets using Python, Pandas, and NumPy, and built a similarity-based Music Recommendation System.

I also use AI coding assistants to generate, understand, debug, and improve code while reviewing and testing the implementation. I am currently seeking an entry-level Java Backend Developer role or Java Developer Internship where I can contribute to real-world projects and continue developing my software engineering skills.
