What I'm looking for

I’m looking to contribute to a dynamic, data-driven organization where I can apply data cleaning, analysis, and visualization to produce reliable, evidence-based insights and grow through real-world reporting and analytics work.

I’m a highly motivated and detail-oriented Applied Statistics graduate with a strong foundation in data analysis, statistical methods, and problem-solving. I’m proficient in turning real-world datasets into meaningful insights that support decision-making.

During my internship at the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority, I conducted analysis of tourism survey data to identify key trends. I executed data cleaning, transformation, and structuring using Microsoft Excel, and supported weekly, monthly, and annual reporting through systematic compilation and summarization.

I strengthen this foundation through projects that combine analytics and visualization. I built Python-based panel data models to analyze occupancy drivers, and I designed an interactive Power BI dashboard with custom DAX measures to surface premium vs. claim trends for underwriting, pricing, and risk management.
