What I'm looking for

I’m looking for an IFRS-focused audit role where I can lead engagements, deepen technical expertise in revenue recognition and risk areas, and contribute proactive insights to clients while collaborating with strong teams that value quality and clear communication.

I’m a Big 4-trained external auditor with close to three years at Deloitte Turkey, progressing from Junior to Senior while delivering IFRS audit engagements across fintech, pharmaceuticals, retail, and manufacturing. I’ve led concurrent engagements and partnered closely with stakeholders to keep audits focused, high-quality, and on schedule.

As a Senior Auditor, I’ve acted as senior-in-charge on 3 concurrent external audit engagements, leading field teams of three and supervising junior and semi-senior auditors through planning, execution, and review. I perform substantive testing over revenue recognition in high-volume online-payments environments, addressing cut-off and timing risk tied to transaction-date-dependent revenue, and I assess the collectability and impairment of trade receivables to reflect non-payment risk.

I also take ownership of other high-risk areas—reviewing financial instruments, cost accounting, and tax compliance—to verify fair presentation under IFRS. Alongside audit assurance, I’m applying an entrepreneurial mindset as Founder & Director of a registered online clothing business in Mauritius, running end-to-end operations from sourcing and pricing to customer relationships and finances.
