Grant Accountant and grants compliance professional driving transparent, compliant donor-funded finance operations.
What I'm looking for
I am a value driven, results-oriented Finance and admin, Grants and Compliance professional with 7+ years of experience supporting Government agencies, INGOs, and the private sector. I bring strong expertise in grants, programme budgeting, compliance, and reporting—grounded in donor financial rules and regulations across USAID, DFID, UN, EU, and the British Council.
In my current role as Grant Accountant with Palladium – SCALE project, I manage post-award grant processes including budget and expense analysis, financial reporting, budget modifications, and grant closeout. I serve as a primary point of contact for post-award implementation, ensuring grant files are complete, accurate, and up-to-date for Fixed Amount Awards and Cost reimbursable grants.
I have supported successful donor outcomes, including a successful audit of European Union funded grants with a cumulative sample size value of EUR 1,220,926.05. I also support compliance through field-based monitoring visits, due diligence, risk minimization, and partner capacity building—developing tools, templates, and trackers that improve reporting quality and operational control.
Beyond grant accounting, I’ve coordinated logistics and procurement for donor-funded initiatives, built and maintained reporting and budget tracking tools, and delivered finance and procurement trainings to sub-recipients. I’m passionate about contributing to organizations that build long-lasting economic and social value through robust, fit-for-purpose grants and administrative systems.
