Ignazio Gandolfo

I’m a Full Stack Developer with commercial experience across MERN stack engineering and Django web development, backed by a proven ability to deliver complete applications from requirements through to production. I recently completed a one-year Full Stack Developer Coding Traineeship with IT Career Switch, delivering two real-world client projects end-to-end.

At Flow Lobby Interactive, I served as Lead Software Engineer, owning full-stack MERN architecture, server-side authentication, performance optimisation, and third-party API integration across a live application. I’ve also built secure, server-side web applications as a freelance Django developer, integrating payment gateways, geolocation services, and social sharing functionality while keeping codebases clean and well-documented.

Before and alongside development work, I brought enterprise support experience from Intelerad as a Senior System Support Specialist, resolving complex software issues for medical imaging systems and collaborating with development teams to implement targeted fixes. I managed deployment and configuration of software updates and patches, served as the escalation point for high-priority incidents, and delivered end-user training while producing comprehensive troubleshooting documentation and best practice guides.

I’m comfortable working in Agile environments using Scrum and Kanban, with solid Git version control habits, unit testing experience, and a structured approach to technical documentation and knowledge sharing. I’m a BSc (Hons) Computer Science graduate from London Metropolitan University and I’m immediately available for junior to mid-level Full Stack Developer roles across the UK.
