I bring over 18 years of experience as an Environmental Engineer and Associate Professor, focused on watershed management planning, water quality analysis, and hydrological modeling. My work centers on turning complex environmental processes into decision-ready evidence for sustainable land and water management.

I’ve led advanced research on ecohydrological modeling and nutrient fluxes, while coordinating international research collaborations. I’m experienced in delivering results across large-scale EU initiatives, including Horizon 2020 and COST Actions, and I’ve contributed as an LULUCF expert and researcher for greenhouse gas monitoring systems.

Technically, I’m highly hands-on with GIS and modeling toolchains—ArcGIS and GIS-based analysis, along with Matlab, Mike-SHE, and SWMM for hydrological and ecohydrological simulations. I also apply Python and R for data analysis and support research workflows from field monitoring to model calibration and interpretation.

Professionally, I’m motivated by research that is rigorous, actionable, and collaborative. Based in Germany with B2 German proficiency, I aim to keep working at the intersection of hydrology, water quality, and land-use science—building projects that translate modeling into measurable environmental outcomes.
