At Berliner Hochschule für Technik, I’m studying environmental information and GIS while working on projects in remote sensing, environmental monitoring, and spatial analysis. For Doñana National Park, I developed and compared Random Forest and XGBoost models to classify wetlands from Sentinel-2 data.
For a Brandenburg project, I calculated and assessed NBR and dNBR indices from Sentinel-2 imagery to classify and interpret burned areas using R. I also developed a workflow for environmental sensor data processing, cleaning, and time-series analysis with Python and SQLite.
I created a traffic model and scenario analyses for the Erding district and Munich Airport using PTV Visum. Other projects included an environmental monitoring system for soil health in Denmark, with a GIS-based monitoring approach and an interactive R-Shiny tool to identify risk regions.
As a swimming instructor at WASSERMELONI SCHWIMSCHULE, I plan and lead children’s courses and check and document water quality before sessions. Earlier, as a city and regional planner in Tunis, I developed a transport plan focused on environmentally friendly mobility and contributed to planning work on affordable housing and community facilities.
