I’m a Software Engineer with 7+ years of experience designing and building scalable backend systems using Java, Spring Boot, Go, and cloud-native architectures. I’m specialized in distributed systems, REST API design, enterprise integrations, asynchronous processing, and large-scale data workflows.

In my current role as SOFTWARE ENGINEER III (BACKEND), I design and develop backend services for Guru’s enterprise knowledge platform, including scalable REST APIs for data ingestion, permissions, and enterprise integrations. I’ve built and maintained persistence layers with PostgreSQL, Hibernate, and Liquibase, and I focus heavily on reliability by debugging production issues with logs and observability tools. I also created an internal AI-agent-powered tool using Claude to automate development, deployment, and debugging of Prismatic integrations, cutting average delivery time by over 60%.

Previously at Cision, I contributed to a modern microservices platform using Java and Spring Boot, building REST and GraphQL APIs and integrating Elasticsearch and Stripe. I used Pub/Sub for event-driven workflows, optimized PostgreSQL models, and supported reliability through on-call rotations plus monitoring with Grafana and Prometheus. Earlier at IBM, I developed backend services in Go and REST APIs, increased unit coverage from 20% to 80%, and helped modernize a legacy Java 7/Servlet system by migrating it to IBM’s hybrid cloud and improving deployment time through dockerization.
