What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a team where I can lead end-to-end system design for scalable microservices and event-driven platforms, pair strong backend/frontend delivery with AI-assisted development, and build reliable solutions in regulated, high-throughput environments.

I’m a Senior Software Engineer with 10+ years designing and building scalable, distributed systems—combining microservices, event-driven architectures, and high-throughput data pipelines backed by relational and NoSQL databases.

At NVIDIA, I led the design and rollout of a Remote Patient Monitoring platform serving 2M+ members, building Java-based and polyglot microservices that process 3M+ clinical events/day with sub-150ms p95 latency, plus an AI-driven triage system using LangChain and OpenAI APIs. Previously at Qualcomm, I modernized telehealth and Remote Patient Monitoring systems by delivering FHIR/HL7 ingestion with Kafka Connect into Redshift/BigQuery (600K+ messages/day, 99.9% delivery), and I improved clinician workflows through React/TypeScript UI performance optimizations.

Current

Senior Software Engineer

Oct 2017 - Present (8 years 8 months)

Led the design and rollout of Nvidia’s Remote Patient Monitoring platform, enabling continuous biometric ingestion and AI-supported clinical triage for 2M+ members. Architected and built large-scale Java-based and polyglot microservices processing 3M+ clinical events/day with sub-150ms p95 latency, and implemented an AI-driven triage system to reduce unnecessary ER escalations.

Software Engineer

Sep 2013 - Oct 2017 (4 years 1 month)

Modernized telehealth and population health systems by transitioning from legacy platforms to cloud-native, microservice-based architectures. Built a Kafka Connect clinical ingestion pipeline with strict FHIR validation, streaming into Redshift and BigQuery to process 600K+ messages/day with 99.9% delivery guarantees, and improved resiliency and API latency by redesigning failure handling and REST

PA

Software Engineering Intern

Sep 2011 - Oct 2012 (1 year 1 month)

Built interactive learning flows and lesson interfaces to improve UI responsiveness and reduce render overhead during peak usage. Implemented real-time lesson/chat experiences using WebSockets and improved front-end performance with code-splitting, memoization, and virtualization, while automating localization for 40+ languages via Crowdin and GitHub Actions.
