Hourieh Habibzadeh

I am an architect technologist with a strong foundation in building engineering, currently pursuing my M.Eng at Carleton University. My journey began with a B.Sc. in Architectural Engineering from Ahrar University, where I developed a keen interest in sustainable design practices. Over the past few years, I have honed my skills in architectural design and technology through various roles, including my recent position at Dej Sazan Company in Iran, where I designed and reviewed architectural plans for both residential and commercial projects.

My experience includes creating BIM models using AutoCAD, SketchUp, and 3ds Max, which have been instrumental in supporting energy evaluations and enhancing project efficiency. I have collaborated with multidisciplinary teams, gaining valuable insights into building system layouts and envelope detailing. I am also actively involved in research projects at Carleton University, focusing on energy modeling and building performance simulation, where I apply industry standards to improve energy efficiency in building designs.
