Julia Lexie

I am a Mechanical Designer with hands-on experience preparing HVAC, plumbing, and fire-protection systems for commercial, industrial, and residential projects.

I hold a Master of Architecture from De Montfort University and an Honours Bachelor of Architectural Science from Ryerson University, where I led multiple design projects and won the Timber Fever competition. My academic work includes building performance simulation and life-cycle costing for sustainable control systems.

In practice I apply strong proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks to produce coordinated 2D and 3D models, resolve clashes, and develop detailed duct and sanitary piping layouts. I have prepared technical reports, schedules, and client submittals while working closely with architects, structural engineers, and project managers.

I seek opportunities to contribute to sustainable, code-compliant designs, expand my BIM coordination and technical leadership, and deliver reliable, efficient building systems.
