Himanshi Negi

I am an environmental researcher with three years of experience supporting water governance and climate resilience programs through program coordination, proposal development, and data-driven research. I have worked across technical, policy, and implementation teams and have liaised with government agencies, NGOs, and academic partners under large donor-funded initiatives such as NMCG and DST.

My work spans open data systems and air quality analysis, using CPCB, WRIS, Census, and GBD datasets to produce decision-ready knowledge products for development partners and policy makers. I have contributed to grant proposals and secured funding, including projects funded by NMCG and the Department of Science & Technology.

I bring hands-on analytical skills in QGIS, ArcGIS (basic), Power BI, and MS Office, and I have conducted spatio-temporal GIS analyses, population-weighted exposure assessments, and perception studies to inform climate-smart governance and wetland management. I have authored technical policy briefs and SDG-aligned handbooks for District Ganga Committees.

I am committed to translating research into actionable governance outcomes and capacity building, having led stakeholder sensitization workshops and supported third-party appraisals for implementation partners. I seek roles where I can continue bridging data-driven research with policy and implementation to strengthen climate resilience.
