At the National University of Singapore, I designed and carried out qualitative research on Malaysian financial services and Islamic finance. I brought together fieldwork, expert interviews, documentary research, and analysis to produce structured findings and seven peer-reviewed publications.
As a Visiting Researcher at the Institute of Islamic Banking and Finance, International Islamic University Malaysia, I conducted field research among financial-sector professionals and maintained relationships with academic and industry contacts. I also facilitated discussion groups as a University Tutor at the National University of Singapore, making complex social-science and market-related concepts clear to participants.
