Software and cloud architect, 24 years of delivery. I've written C# since the .NET 1.0 beta, and founded Beatman, my own architecture firm, in 2002: 500+ projects across fintech, marketplaces, retail and AI, with a team of around twenty engineers. I never moved away from the code.
Since early 2025 I've been CTO and solutions architect at Infortive, an AI-first SaaS on AWS serverless taken from MVP to scale: semantic search and vectorisation over profiles and documents, RAG and LLM integration across Claude and Bedrock, and MLOps with drift and hallucination monitoring rather than one evaluation at launch. Since 2018, in parallel, I've built a multi-tenant marketplace SaaS at KND, solo and full stack: .NET 8 on AWS Lambda, Next.js, RavenDB with a database per tenant, deep Claude API integration, and an AI credit system that keeps cost per tenant below what it earns.
At Filuet I migrated a live e-commerce platform from Azure to AWS with no service interruption, monolith to microservices. The hard part was the legacy enterprise APIs nobody could rewrite. +50% scalability, 30% lower cost, 40% faster time to production. AWS specialist for 14 years, hands-on, mostly serverless and event-driven. At Quantum I architected a 360 and VR live streaming SaaS on AWS: RTMP, Elemental MediaLive, HLS, CloudFront.
Payments taught me the constraints that shape everything I build. I designed the payment architecture for Splitit, now publicly traded, a European gaming payment wallet for Delasport under GDPR and AML, and payment and check-clearing systems for ERN, part of the Menora Mivtachim insurance group.
I run pub-ai, an autonomous editorial pipeline: five specialised agents on AWS serverless, a dual LLM layer across Claude Sonnet and Haiku for cost, a RAG agent brain, and risk-tier guardrails that escalate to a human only on critical changes.
ANO is live on Base mainnet: an encrypted messenger with a native self-custody wallet, an ERC-20 token deployed, 100% sponsored gas, guardian-based recovery instead of seed phrases, and the x402 micropayment protocol in production. Building it taught me the hard part isn't the blockchain, it's hiding it.
What interests me is the gap between an AI demo and an AI system that still works in six months. Two things I learned the hard way: fact-checking has to be a separate adversarial agent, because a model asked to verify its own output agrees with itself, and most agent failures in production are ordinary distributed systems bugs, not AI bugs.
