What I'm looking for

I'm looking to build resilient, observable backend systems for high-scale fintech products, solving ambiguous business problems through Go, distributed systems, event-driven architecture, and performance optimization.

At Mercado Libre, I built and evolved mission-critical collections services for consumer and merchant loans across Brazil, Mexico, Chile, and Argentina.

I consolidated fragmented data into a single-source-of-truth API, reduced missed updates in batches of up to 200,000 events to virtually zero, and designed data strategies for more than 200 billion records.

I work with Go, REST APIs, microservices, event-driven architectures, MySQL, Kubernetes, and observability tools to turn ambiguous fintech problems into resilient, maintainable systems.

Developed and enhanced backend services for loan collections within the credit fintech ecosystem, leading the evolution of a single-source-of-truth API and implementing a retry mechanism that reduced missed updates in large event batches to virtually zero. Designed a date-based partitioning and cold-storage solution for over 200 billion records, reducing search latency from seconds to milliseconds
