What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a role where I can deliver patient-centered pharmacy care, strengthen medication safety through pharmacovigilance and GDP, and contribute to reliable medicines supply. I want structured mentorship, quality improvement, and growth in clinical and operations work.

I am a dedicated, recently qualified Pharmacist with a Bachelor of Pharmacy from the University of Nairobi and a PPB-accredited supervised internship. My training spans hospital, community, industrial, and primary health care settings, with a consistent focus on patient-centered care.

During my PPB-accredited supervised internship at Makadara Hospital and within the PCSU hospital pharmacy rotation, I interpreted and dispensed prescriptions for inpatients and outpatients and conducted bedside counseling. I documented pharmacy interventions and supported medication safety through ADR reporting, while practicing pharmacovigilance and Good Dispensing Practices (GDP) to strengthen therapeutic safety and efficacy.

I also gained hands-on experience managing narcotic and psychotropic substances, ARVs, and Anti-TB commodities, and I supported chemotherapy preparation and reconstituted morphine solutions under supervision with protocol compliance. I participated in multidisciplinary ward rounds, patient reviews, and case presentations, and I contributed to Continuous Medical Education (CME) sessions on disease management and MTM.

In community and industrial rotations, I processed prescriptions accurately, ensured timely dispensing, monitored inventory levels, and supported supply chain optimization. I supported GMP-compliant pharmaceutical manufacturing activities, including quality assurance, quality control, and formulation, and I developed a strong understanding of regulatory affairs in pharmaceutical production.
