I’m a self-taught AI developer focused on shipping production tools with language models—not just prototypes. I work at the intersection of applied mathematics, language models, and real-world deployment, with projects that are live, public, and used.

Recently, I built and deployed a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server in Python to give Claude real-time access to CNN Portugal news, connecting to Claude Desktop for live querying. I also deployed a production RAG chatbot (Document AI Agent v2.0) on Render, built with FastAPI, LangChain, Groq LLMs, TF-IDF retrieval, and Gradio, supporting multilingual document Q&A with sub-second retrieval on typical sets.

I iterate in production—handling memory limits, cold start latency, and API key management on a free-tier host—while shipping features like an admin dashboard and an embeddable widget for third-party integration. Alongside AI development, I freelance for SMEs on custom document Q&A chatbots and provide translation services across Portuguese, French, and English, and I’m starting a BSc in Applied Mathematics at the University of Porto in September 2026 with a long-term goal of an MSc in AI.
