What I'm looking for

I'm seeking a Scientist role in pharmaceutical R&D focused on solid-state, preformulation, crystallization or process development, or analytical development.

At Bharathiar University, I led an independent research program on controlling D-mannitol polymorphs, an excipient used in solid dosage and lyophilized formulations. I developed and optimized crystallization processes that enhanced separation of Forms I and II and isolated metastable Form II.

I evaluated how supersaturation, cooling conditions, solvent composition, additives, a Nylon 6/6 template, and ultrasound affected induction time, nucleation, and polymorph selectivity. I characterized solid forms using PXRD, SCXRD, DSC, VT-PXRD, and optical microscopy.

I used FullProf and SHELX for fitting and structure analysis, and Mercury and Crystal Explorer to examine crystal packing and intermolecular interactions. I authored five first-author publications and co-authored a study on controlling nucleation and isolating maltol polymorphs; I'm seeking a Scientist role in pharmaceutical R&D.
