Helga Osorio

I am a certified Medical Assistant and phlebotomist with hands-on clinical and administrative training from a 900-hour diploma program. I bring strong customer service, dependable work ethic, and experience across pediatrics, OBGYN, and outpatient settings.

In my current role I lead pediatric workflows, train new hires, coordinate follow-up care, and serve as a certified Portuguese medical interpreter, ensuring clear communication and culturally sensitive care.

I have performed a wide range of clinical procedures including venipuncture, ECGs, injections, specialty lab testing, spirometry, and assisted with minor surgeries and NST monitoring. I maintain CPR/BLS with AED certification and adhere to laboratory safety and sterile-field protocols.

I am proficient in Meditech, NextGen, Allscripts, and Epic, and I seek to contribute my multilingual skills (Portuguese, Cape Verdean Creole, Spanish spoken), clinical reliability, and patient-focused approach to a collaborative healthcare team.
