Heidi Freye
@heidifreye
Behavior-focused education professional helping students thrive through IEPs, restorative practices, and trauma-informed support.
What I'm looking for
I’m a behavior-focused education professional committed to helping students make progress through structure, empathy, and clear plans. My background includes supporting learners with unique disabilities and implementing behavior strategies tied to IEPs.
In school settings, I’ve supported and retaught restorative justice practices, assisted families and students with behavioral needs and IEP services, and helped teachers and teams strengthen behavior plans. I also use positive coping skills, BIPs, and mediation to reduce conflict and support students in working through behaviors safely.
Before education roles, I built a foundation in human services and safety-focused work—providing individualized counseling support, promoting safety and well-being in family-centered interventions, and working in intelligence operations and security management. I bring a trauma-informed, prevention-first approach, along with strong collaboration and professional relationship skills, to every student and team I support.
