LMSW Intervention Specialist combining adolescent support, adoption casework, and mental health experience to drive lasting outcomes.
What I'm looking for
I’m a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) who brings a strong mix of mental health, child welfare, and adoption-focused client support. I work confidently both independently and as part of a team, always ready to go beyond basic assignments.
In my current role as an Intervention Specialist with Fort Worth Independent School District, I build positive relationships with adolescent learners to increase engagement, attendance, and academic confidence. I support students with goal setting, progress tracking, and accountability, partnering with counselors and administrators to strengthen credit recovery, graduation readiness, and academic intervention plans.
Previously, as an Adoption Specialist with ACH Child and Family Services, I collaborated with state agencies and benefits coordinators to create individualized plans, conducted monthly home visits, and worked closely with care teams to discuss collaborative treatment efforts. I also gained courtroom and legal-document experience as a Child Welfare Specialist with the Department of Human Services, preparing and coordinating documents, attending court hearings, and providing testimony—plus I completed 480 hours of mental health inpatient/outpatient field instruction through my internship at Mesa Springs Mental Health Hospital.
