What I'm looking for

Backend or AI engineering roles building agent infrastructure: tool layers, sandboxed execution, streaming APIs and LLM evaluation, mostly in Go and Python. I want a small, high-ownership team shipping AI products to real users. Open to remote roles and to relocating (US, Singapore, Europe) with visa sponsorship.

At MathWorks, I build agent tooling, evaluation infrastructure, and backend services for the Simulink Copilot. I developed a sandboxed filesystem tool layer in Go and runtime infrastructure for long, multi-turn agent sessions.

I authored an LLM-as-judge evaluation suite for Copilot follow-up suggestions, raising quality from 71% to 93%. I also led the low-level design of a thread-safe, lock-free C++ SSE streaming SDK.

Previously, I developed a React and Node.js platform with interactive 3D manipulation as a freelance engineer on Upwork. My projects include an ML feature-engineering thesis and a first-place finish in the Sigmoid Data Science Hackathon.
