What I'm looking for

I'm looking for a backend-focused role where I can build secure Python APIs, design scalable data models, improve test coverage, and grow through production engineering work.

I'm a backend-focused developer working primarily with Python, Django, Django REST Framework, and FastAPI. I made a deliberate switch into software after realizing hardware-focused engineering wasn't the right fit for me — I found I consistently did better in the software-leaning parts of my coursework, which gave me the confidence to pivot fully into programming. I'm currently completing Full Stack Python Development training at TOPS Technologies in Rajkot, where I've focused most of my energy on backend architecture, API design, and database modeling.

Some of the projects I've built:

WeCare — a healthcare platform with 167 API endpoints built in FastAPI and MySQL. I led backend/API development and the admin panel as part of a 6-person team, and we won 1st place out of 9 teams at a 1-day hackathon.
Drafted — a Django app with 12 models across 3 apps and a clean JSON API layer.
Expansio — a personal finance tracker with 99% test coverage across 54 test functions, reflecting how seriously I treat testing and code reliability.

I care most about writing APIs that are clean, well-tested, and easy for a team to build on top of. I'm looking for backend or full-stack roles where I can keep deepening my Django/FastAPI expertise and take on real-world scale challenges.
