I’m looking for a backend role where I can build event-driven, real-time distributed systems, improve performance and reliability, and use AI to automate engineering workflows and testing with a team focused on developer productivity.

I’m a Backend Engineer at BNY, where I build large-scale distributed systems and real-time data processing platforms. I developed a metadata-driven IBM MQ + Kafka ingestion system that handles file ingestion, validation, enrichment, deduplication, database persistence, and reconciliation across 35+ datasets processing 30M+ daily records (55M peak).

I’ve improved throughput and reliability with automation: trigger-based asynchronous reprocessing workflows recovered incomplete records, improved dataset completeness by 50%, and reduced manual operational effort by 40%. I also increased end-of-day snapshot throughput by 3x (5–6 hours down to under 2 for 8M+ records), automated 90% of UAT testing using enterprise AI/LLM APIs, and cut onboarding time from 3 days to 2–3 hours via LLM-driven canonical-schema configuration and deployment setup.
