What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a Java backend role where I can lead architecture for microservices, modernize legacy systems, and improve quality with TDD, refactoring, and observability—inside a strong Agile team.

I’m a Senior Java Software designer & developer focused on building and transforming backend systems with strong architecture discipline. I lead technical delivery in Agile Scrum teams, apply DDD/hexagonal architecture and SOLID principles, and drive continuous improvement through refactoring and better unit test coverage.

In my most recent role, I worked on a user management system centralizing users and access rights across organizations, acting as the team’s tech lead. I led a full transformation of legacy code and performance issues into a modern Spring Boot REST API, refactored the domain/persistence layers, and introduced SSO authentication using OIDC.

Previously, I delivered new systems and enhancements such as CCMS V2 and COS for Hilti, with event-driven syncing using AWS services and graph database patterns. Earlier, at ING France and Nespresso, I built and upgraded microservices and payment/authentication features, implemented automated tests (Cucumber, JUnit/Mockito), and migrated legacy applications toward Spring Boot with TDD and production-safe delivery.
