What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a QA automation/SDET role where I can own test strategy, build scalable Playwright/Appium frameworks, and strengthen CI/CD release quality—especially in regulated fintech environments that value shift-left testing and high-availability reliability.

I’m a QA Automation Engineer / SDET with 4+ years delivering high-quality enterprise software in fintech and financial services environments. I focus on end-to-end system testing across web, mobile, and microservices, with strong test automation using Playwright (Java) and Appium.

I design scalable automation frameworks and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines for continuous quality checks before deployment. I also handle API validation (REST), database validation (SQL), and release quality gates, partnering with teams to meet acceptance criteria and regulated compliance needs.

In my most recent role as QA and test automation lead for FundMaster in Nairobi, I built comprehensive functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end suites across pension lifecycle modules and strengthened reliability through production release validation. I’ve previously improved reliability and reduced production defects at Emerging Capital Holdings and built mobile and API automation at Vyrosoft Group, including system resilience and failover testing.
