Halima Muhammad Idris

I am a dedicated and passionate veterinarian who graduated in 2024. My academic journey has been marked by notable achievements, including full tuition scholarships from prestigious institutions, grants for scientific undergraduate research and a certificate of merit for my performance in national mathematics competitions. I am committed to advancing animal health and welfare through education and community engagement.

In addition to my academic pursuits, I have taken on various leadership roles within the International Veterinary Students’ Association (IVSA), where I have honed my skills in public relations, graphic design, and team collaboration. As the President of IVSA at the University of Abuja, I have successfully organized impactful events such as animal health camps and awareness campaigns, fostering a culture of proactive engagement among my peers. My graphic design skills, developed through multiple courses, have allowed me to create compelling visual content that supports our initiatives and enhances communication.
