At Nodum Kft., I work across the metering data path, from sub-meter installation to collection, integration and reporting. I've installed more than 1,000 energy monitoring devices for utilities, municipalities and manufacturing plants.
We built Snapmeter to address a recurring problem: manual meter readings often stay on paper or in spreadsheets. A colleague photographs a meter, the app reads the value offline, and the record keeps its photo, timestamp and meter ID for later verification.
Snapmeter is a finished product with a mobile app, confirmation step, multi-tenant portal and exports. It supports analog and digital meters for electricity, water, gas and heat, and its data can flow into SAP, Power BI, Tableau and Metabase. So far, it has handled more than 25,000 readings and 25,000 photos.
Before Nodum, I worked in public administration, fund coordination and project management. At IDEFA, I managed development of NORA, the grant management system for the EEA and Norwegian Financial Mechanisms in Hungary, and supervised six teams.
