Defined and executed the technology strategy by aligning IT infrastructure with cloud environments and AI-driven automation to improve business efficiency. Led the creation of secure, scalable, and flexible infrastructure to modernize systems and reduce costs.

Improved release management infrastructure and evolved developer self-service capabilities. Administered infrastructure using Terraform and supported legacy migrations to AWS using Kubernetes and Docker, using GitLab CI and Spinnaker for continuous delivery.

Built mission-critical systems from architecture design through migration planning using CI/CD and GitOps. Deployed and administered Kubernetes clusters on EKS/GKE, managed high-availability SAP platform setups, and implemented infrastructure as code using CloudFormation/Deployment Manager/ARM/Terraform with Ansible for automation.

Provided support and architecture design for Sportium’s retail platform, including microservices, middleware, and data warehouse ETL. Orchestrated web services with Puppet + Git + Foreman, supported Informix database migration, and deployed an ELK stack for real-time log collection and analysis.

Supported and administered private and public cloud environments built on VMware and OpenStack, including improvements to PCI infrastructure. Performed OS patching and OS image creation, orchestrated with Puppet + Mcollectd + Foreman, and monitored/audited with Splunk alongside collaboration using Gerrit and Git.

Supported Converis and Web Of Science Profiles (Thomson Reuters IP&Science products). Managed application stacks including Apache, Java, Tomcat, Glassfish, and PostgreSQL, and handled AWS deployments and data-center migrations.

Administered production infrastructure composed of physical and virtual RHEL/CentOS servers and supported related server hardware environments. Supported Apache and internal services (LDAP, DNS, Puppet, Nagios, Cacti) and collaborated with developers on provisioning and deployment of continuous web applications.

Provided daily support and maintenance for the company’s data center in cloud computing environments. Worked with IaaS, SaaS, and PaaS operations.

Supported a product split across Unix and Windows servers, managing support for 1,000+ servers across four data centers with fail-over responsibilities. Performed VMware administration, change activities across integration/preproduction/production, handled Severity 1 issues, and supported operational continuity via Active–Passive site fail-over.

Maintained customer websites and email services and performed Linux user management with LDAP administration. Implemented Parallels Virtuozzo containers and Virtual Private Servers, improved PHP user default scripts and Apache configuration, and designed Gentoo images for future servers.

Administered workstations and servers for a geology team and supported geological products including Landmark, Roxar, and Kingdom. Migrated Red Hat and Solaris platforms for Oracle 10 use, installed database requirements for OpenWorks R5000, and performed daily backups of seismic RAW files and production Oracle databases.

Administered Unix services including NIS/NIS+, LDAP, Samba/Winbind, and Apache, and handled Oracle administration across UNIX/Solaris/Linux. Installed and managed NetApp Filers, supported Landmark applications, performed Solaris SPARC upgrades, and executed tape backups of large seismic file systems using standard tools.
